PUERTO RICO PICTURES

   Welcome to Isabel Segunda,
    the capital of Vieques!

The town plaza is great for observing
Puerto Ricans in their natural habitat.

Blue Beach!

Otherwise known as      Bahia de la Chiva. This translates into "the bay of the goat", which is a much less magical name.

As you can see, there's  no one else here!

El Fortin Conde     de Mirasol!

Still Protecting the island from greedy French & English privateers.

Mosquito Pier!

Vieques is great for spearing all sorts of rare & exotic creatures!

Green Beach!

If fish doesn't appeal to you, there are tons of conchs to pester.

           Chickens!

They're literally everywhere on Vieques.

These little gremlins were given to us by a neighbor. There names, Black & Yellow.

Here's Ms. Adventure guarding the fort!

Now, let's hop on over to Old San Juan!

The city is full of cool and interesting architecture, along with conveniently unlocked gates!

Our self proclaimed VIP status gave us full access to all the undisclosed public buildings that most tourists would be afraid to explore!

  Heil the Conquistadors!!

          Here's Ms.Adventure thinking
          about falling into the fountain!

Quincentennial Plaza and
its giant "Totem" structure commemorate the discovery
of the new world.

Whatever this is, no doubt pays tribute to all the brave Spaniards that enslaved the natives to save their heathen souls...

Well that's enough of Old San Juan. Lets check out the rain forest and pay Culebra a visit!

There's nothing more refreshing
than bamboo water to start a busy
day of misadventure!

        -Except maybe a pretend rafting
         trip down the rainforest falls!

The dense rain forest is full
 of exotic flowers and plants.

       -Tons of cool fruit too!

 Now, over to Culebra!

  First, a quick stop
  at Flamenco Beach
  for some fun!

      Then some snorkeling
       at Playa Rosario and
         we'll call it a day!
